Created and produced by the association Arty Farty, Nuits sonores is celebrating its 23rd edition. 

Since its inception, it has established itself as one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to independent electronic and contemporary cultures.

Each year, over the long Ascension weekend, the festival transforms Lyon into a unique, temporary space for freedom, urban conviviality and shared experiences. Among its venues, La Sucrière hosts part of the programme and plays a central role in this collective experience where music, dance and the discovery of urban spaces come together.

In tune with its times, Nuits sonores champions the vision of an inclusive and engaged dancefloor. Built on a fully independent, demanding and constantly evolving programme, the festival embraces values of openness and diversity, celebrates the universal language of music, and encourages artistic crossovers, creating bridges across a wide range of creative fields.

Today, Nuits sonores brings together more than 100,000 festivalgoers at each edition and welcomes over 200 renowned artists and speakers through its diverse musical, talks-based, free and family-friendly programmes.
