LA SUCRIÈRE: A VENUE FOR CULTURAL EVENTS AND EXHIBITIONS IN THE HEART OF LYON'S CONFLUENCE DISTRICT

Situated in the heart of Lyon's Confluence district, La Sucrière is a former industrial building from the 1930s, which was completely renovated in 2011. The venue specialises in hosting cultural events and exhibitions.

La Sucrière's name harks back to its former purpose as a sugar warehouse.
The building's three silos stand as emblems to this industrial past.

Steeped in history, this venue demonstrates that it is possible to preserve our industrial heritage while giving it a new vocation: culture and events.

La Sucrière has been designed to host national or international art exhibitions, which can be held in parallel with professional events and consumer fairs. The venue sits in a charming location on the banks of the River Saône, and certain areas of the river banks can be privatised for events.

Thanks to its 5,100m² of indoor space and its capacity to hosts seated dinners for up to 1,500 people, this venue is ideal for hosting exceptional events in a resolutely contemporary environment devoted to culture.

Gala evening

"Our event went really well. The organisational aspect went smoothly and the teams were extremely responsive. They adapted to our needs and gave us good advice, particularly concerning the technical aspects linked to the various events planned during the evening. The atypical nature of the venue added an extra dimension to our evening".
