In 12 years, Le Sucre has become one of the flagship venues of club culture in Europe, a musical laboratory cultivating a demanding, independent, free, and innovative vision of celebration. Its history has also been built with a strong local anchor, committing wholeheartedly to promoting the quality and diversity of the local scene. With its festival, the iconic club steps beyond its walls and takes over the Confluence district.

For 25 years, the Arty Farty association has been a pioneering presence in this exceptional territory, supporting its transformations. In resonance with this long shared history, Le Sucre and Arty Farty have envisioned a bold, committed, multifaceted, and decidedly urban winter festival. For one week, Le Sucre will showcase its values throughout the neighborhood, activating its concert halls and emblematic spaces.

At the heart of the programming is the local scene, with the aim of highlighting the artists and initiatives that keep electronic music alive in Lyon year-round. Alongside them are international artists and longtime collaborators of Le Sucre, those who have shaped its identity over the years. The festival proudly embraces stylistic diversity and seeks to be a platform for multiple forms of expression—unique b2b sets, dance performances, politically and socially engaged audiovisual live shows—exploring a wide array of musical genres: psychedelic jazz, ambient and downtempo, techno and hardcore, hip-hop, punk, acid, house…

Between dance, engagement, and encounters, this first edition of Le Sucre festival is a renewed declaration of love for celebration and conviviality as a unifying cultural, social, and civic act.
